To train your body, weight training is a necessity. But more is needed to lift light weights if you really want to make a significant change. Training is required high intensity, or HIT, as it is called, and is effective. The technique has been promoted and disseminated widely by many people over the last couple of decades, including "Mr. America" winner, Mike Mentzer, Bill Phillips (author of "Body for Life"), Art Jones (builder of Nautilus equipment) and Ellington Darden to (some say) wrote the "Bible" on HIT.
HIT is based on intensity – extreme intensity – and certainly works. The magic of HIT according to Phillips is the "high point". Mentzer called the "break point on." Whatever you call it, is the point in the set (usually the last representative), which stimulates muscle growth. Under it, nothing happens, so it is indeed a "magic point." The idea is to continue with its repetitions to the extent that we can no longer lift the weight, or even move an inch. It is the point of "total failure", and is also the point of magic is sought. Only when complete exhaust the muscles do not grow. It is incredible that all or nothing effort does. Mentzer provides a metaphor which I think is pretty accurate. He says, "The exercise and muscle growth is like a stick of dynamite and a hammer. Views of dynamite lightly and nothing happens (even if you hit ten times), but hit enough strength and … Boom! The same situation occurs with muscle growth and weight training. "Easy" lifting weights will not help much, but reach the "point high "and … Boom! muscles suddenly appear. Phillips described the situation as," The stimulus to trigger muscle growth is rapid, or not at all. "
How hard you have to train to encourage this growth? According to Phillips have to train with the "heart and soul. "Under Article Jones, you have to train very hard" to vomit. "(That sa too much for me, but I think it gives the message.) You will not only has to work hard, but we must go further. It may surprise you, but when you think you're completely exhausted, usually are not. You can usually eliminate one more rep. This is basically what you want: take the repeats to the limit, then squeeze out one more.
You are, without question, asking, with a program like this, how long will it take to see results. With high intensity training (and I guess it really is HIT) will come fast – In just a few weeks. What you see first is an increase in strength. If you could only do three chinups last week, now you can make eight, and so on. In short, an increase in strength comes first, then an increase in muscle size.
Let me end this by saying that the key is quality, not quantity. Intensive weight training will bring a much more long lasting, easy workouts. In fact, you could make any gains at all with weights lightweight and long lasting. But of course, any exercise is better than nothing.

Did you know that those who wrote the Bible thought the earth was flat?
They thought it was a flat plane of the square as a piece of paper. Because of this, no more knew what was above the clouds below the topsoil. So the sky above the clouds and hell is below the surface makes sense. But do you understand now that we know that the earth is round and the interior of the Earth is a molten core and above the earth is our atmosphere, it makes no sense to keep believing in hell and heaven? Anon ymous, the Bible makes several references to the "four corners of the earth"
