English is the only language in which masculine and feminine genders denote male and female persons. In other languages, grammatical gender is not related biological factors (natural) gender. It is difficult for people who only understand English to understand this basic point, and this has led to serious misunderstandings basic words of the Bible. Other languages assign grammatical gender to people, inanimate objects, concepts, and indeed to all nouns, adjectives and pronouns. Grammatical gender may disagree with biological gender. There are two Greek words for a group of people who eat together, one of which is gender female and the other word is neutral, even a group composed entirely of men.

The Greek word for "eagle" (even a female eagle) is masculine. The Greek word for "old" is neutral gender. The following words are female: A Greek word for "fox" (including a man Fox), the word Patris, which means own hometown, homeland, commonly provided in Bibles as "country", a the priestly class of Luke 1:5 (Ephemeria) Hegemony, state, address, over another (as in Luke 3:1), a Greek term which means a descendant (including a male offspring) and in Romans 5.12, "a descendant of Jesse will come," and the Hebrew word for "Spirit Ghost "(Old Testament). However, a Greek word that means" Holy Spirit "(New Testament) is gender neutral.

The pronoun used to refer to the Holy Spirit in the Hebrew original language of Scripture is "she" and the pronoun used to refer to the Holy Spirit in the Greek is "it". Bibles in English, people have chosen to replace "she" and "her" English with the pronoun "he". Obviously, when we read the Old Testament, we believe that the Holy Spirit as a woman, and then to read the New Testament, we do not believe that the Holy Spirit as neutral. Gender is grammatical, not biological, and there is no necessary relationship between the two.
