Every few years, a motivational seminar coming to Omaha. These events are designed to teach how to succeed at the highest levels and make setbacks in comebacks. My company encourages me to attend these seminars to improve my insurance practice.
However, these events do not offer "power spiritual ", which only focus on human effort. The spiritual power comes from an outside source – God himself. There is the high sails that move the boat, but the wind does not ve.
Many years ago, Israel faced a seemingly impossible task – to defeat the impenetrable city of Jericho. Each of us has our own Jericho. We all need hope. Doing the impossible and winning the battle will require more than "feel motivated." God's power will be required. Here's how:
1. Admitting that you do not have what it takes. The night before the battle of Jericho, the army commander of the Lord appeared to Joshua, saying: "Take off sandals, for the place where you stand is holy. "Joshua said," STOP! You are in over your head. "The first step to combat the impossible is to get face down. Have you ever said, "Lord, I'm in my head." What's your battle? A health problem? A rebellious child? Unemployment? A secret addiction? Are you willing to admit that he has what it takes? Spiritual power comes from an external source. It is the high sails that move the boat, but the wind is not seen.
2. I believe that God will fight for you. The instruction of the Lord to Joshua was, in effect, "I will fight – to follow." Here was God's only plan – walk through the city, trumpets and shouting. I am sure that Joshua was skeptical, but he obeyed and won. I think it is obvious that many followers Jesus, to live your life so that God does not have to fight for them. We keep trying, and yet often they are to fail. The good news is that the Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever. If the Lord can fight for Joshua, who can fight for you. It is the high sails that move the boat, but the wind is not seen.

Should women be able to comment or ask questions during the Bible studies, where men are present?
I know the Bible says that the women will receive instruction in peace and submission. I must tell you that it becomes annoying when women appropriate the Bible studies for open discussions that has nothing to do with the subject matter.
