"Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8).

"This verse means people that go all out, not halfway, will see God, "says Matthew, age 9. Yes, God wants total surrender of his people. Christians that Jesus nausea warm up the point of vomiting. I'm not making this up. Take a look at Revelation 3:16.

Have you ever been in love and heard the words "I just want to be friends "? Remember that sick, sinking feeling? That almost like he heard" I never want to see you again. "It is better to know their position is offered half a relationship.

"Bad things if your heart is good and does not think they will see God," says William, 10. "But you You also have to believe in Jesus, because works can not take you to heaven. "Yes, it's a bad thought that we get into trouble. It is especially serious when it is counting on the good deeds that his ticket to enter the gates of heaven.

The religious leaders of Jesus' day maintained a tradition of thousands of laws created as a fence around the law given to Moses on Mount Sinai. The idea is that if you steal a cookie can not reach the masses. This led to a religion of rituals focused on outward cleanliness.

Jesus challenged the prevailing religious thought and practice, when he gave his blessing to the "pure of heart." In other words, clean the interior life and external life will take care of itself. Or, as Augustine said, "Love and do what you want. "

"Purity is special to God," says Anna, 9. "The cigar is filled with joy." Yes, the purity is special for God because he is pure. "The purity of heart to the will of a thing," said Soren Kierkegaard. God has never deviated from its purpose of bringing everything into conformity with her Son. The new world order began when Jesus left heaven and invaded the planet Earth as a baby born in a manger.

The apostle Paul presents Jesus as the new Adam, untainted by the fall of the first Adam. Purity of heart begins to form part of a new humanity, "says Dave, 11:" This means that people who have accepted Christ and believed to have died on the cross and rose again and go to heaven when they die. "Dave is safe because there's a man raised in the sky which is completely God sitting on a throne.

As the firstborn from the dead, Jesus opened the gates of heaven to all who trust in him. The pure bore our impurities in his body when he was hanged on a cross.

"If you are pure of heart that is blessed," says Madison, 10. "Being blessed will help you see God. "When Moses asked to see the glory of God, the Lord said no man could see and live. The contrast between the response of God to Moses and Jesus' promise to the pure in heart is amazing.

Purity of heart is absolute in the sense that Christians are once and for all forgiveness because we have received the life that comes from believing in Jesus as Savior. But it is also relative in the sense of Christians need to confess their sins to God restore the closeness of fellowship that comes from being filled and led by the Spirit of God.

"Those who are pure of heart to be rewarded" says Nicole, 10. "They love God and study his word."

The point to consider: Allow the Lord to replace the clutter in your life with the joy that comes from the purity of heart.

Scripture to remember: "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8).

Question to consider: Are you pure in heart or confusion in your head?
