When you have resentment toward each other, you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and get free. Catherine Ponder —

Anger is almost like an epidemic in the world in which we live. It makes for a good movie, but in real life makes you a very miserable person.

It's easy to get caught in the plot of the movie as you sit watching big screen. You root for the good, and a feeling of euphoria, when all the bad guys have been beaten because that is what they deserve.

There are some movies in which the whole plot is about revenge, injustice happens in the opening minutes, and the rest the person is willing to receive and carry out his revenge.

In the reality of everyday life, even if you get revenge, is not free of the situation that has been enslaved.

The damage done to the thoughts Valuable and deprives you of quality time that could be spent doing something worthwhile. If left unattended will take root deep within your personality may change particularly someone who has always been positive for which is now negative in everything.

There is always a specific, sometimes very small starting point for any slide down. Satan is always looking for the smallest of places where you can affect your life for the worse.

If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you have the Holy Spirit that lives within you to give guidance, direction, and wisdom. It's your job to help you stay on track, but only if you ask. He does not force you to do the right thing.

Your wisdom is very valuable because you can see even the smallest of places where Satan is trying to drag down using a person or circumstance, then nudges to do the right thing long term for their own spiritual health. Not always the feelings of confidence about the truth.

Many people think of forgiveness as something only for the weak or cowardly. They think that if you forgive, you are letting the other person off the hook and not have to pay for doing something wrong.

Galatians 6: 7 – Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that also reap.

This is a law of God that each of us can tell the truth because it will happen for better or for worse. Knowing this, can forgive and leave the consequences to God, because He will ensure that timely and on his way. The other person will never get without paying the price for what they have done.

When you makes the decision to forgive, is how mentally tough to get some scissors, then cut and break the bond of steel that has remained united.

True forgiveness is an awesome experience, but you have to do it alone. Tell God can not forgive the other person without your help. He knows what is happening, and come to his aid to give his supernatural help and you need to have the victory.

You will be amazed at the wonderful things can be accomplished by of his life if only we let them!

I study the Bible. What are some good study aids for reading along with the Bible?

2 Timothy 2 (Amplified Bible) 15Study and be prepared and make every effort to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no reason to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth. Start with a large bible — my personal favorite of amplification. Would be helpful of the following tools: Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, Young's Analytical Concordance of the Bible by Robert Young, the Dake Annotated Reference Bible by Finis Jennings Dakes, comparative Bible translation, a Greek Interlinear and the Hebrew Bible. The New Ungers Bible Dictionary by Moody Press, a Bible lexicon, a Who Who in the Bible is, exposure of the vineyard's Expanded Dictionary of New Testament Words A special edition by WE Vine, all in the Bible by William P. Barker, 26 Bible translations Curtis Vaughan, General Editor of American Home Library Inc 1960 Plantation Georgia 30341, Webster's Dictionary and Thesaurus, interpreting Scripture by Keven J. Conner and Ken Malmin. It may be useful to review what is in the inspired Word of God and compare it over a period of time. God bless you!
